Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it's alarmed concerning the high number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The services position produced for status sassa intervention encounters a large inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for your Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to allow the servicing of all clients and increase access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
